I guess this is where i tell you a little about myself. Hmm now where to start.

I’m a currently 39 and husband to my gorgeous wide, and father to three wonderful kids. In the real world I am a Regional Manager of an IT company which keeps me very busy.

 Jesus is the centre of my life and I have known him since I was 19 when he revealed himself to me in a meeting at a church in Durham the city where I live. Since then I have been on a roller coaster of discovery.

I play the drums in one of the churches worship bands and like to play them VERY LOUD!

Some of my likes and dislikes can be shown in no particular order as

As this blog is often about what I struggle with here is a short list of some of them for you.

• Men being asked to be women in church
• Worship which is “me” or “I” focused and not “You” and “Jesus” focused
• The Prosperity Gospel (blab it and grab it / name it and claim it)
• Cessisionists
• Experiential Christians (the I need to be touched by God or the meeting is not worth Squat people)
• Passive Christians who don’t worship the God who has saved them or tell others about Him
• My weight and Gluttony, I’m a fat man who wants to be an average weight man, but darn it that pizza and those beers look good….

I do have a number of passions which will some out on here as well, which maybe seen as the flip of the struggles

• I want men to be able to be men as God made them to be (and we are all different)
• I want to see God worshiped for who He is and what He has done
• I want to see people set free of their sinful lives and released into a life with their saviour
• I want the bible preached and no other Gospel

So enjoy the blog I know I do, if I step over the line and offend I am sorry but that is my nature to say what I think but it is never my intention to offend… well not always…. just now and again…

Oh and it looks like my family and I are going church planting at some point, and it looks like its in a country where we can shoot moose (my littlest is so pleased as that is what he wants to do!)
