DeperationBand are a group based in the US. They provide worship aimed at youth and young adults. This live worship CD mix’s an electric rock feel, with slower deep ballards. The drums come thumping through in a lot of the tracks, which of course i like, but the lyrics have real depth and they are delivered with passion and Joy. This CD will get you jumping and praising God.

I guess my fav tracks on this CD are ‘My Saviour Lives’ a belter of salvation statements, ‘Taking over now’ with its banging drums and lyrics about Jesus taking it out of our pit of sin, ‘Counting on God’, with the anthemic chant of ‘Im counting on God’ shouted out…

What i dont like is the over use of soft intro’s and ’spoken testimony’ over the songs in the flabby middle of the CD. But to each their own.
